“My wife and I have had several people over the years come in as cleaners. While they all seem to do an ‘okay’ job, Angela and her team did a more thorough job than anyone we have had in the past. She also took the time to put not just clean but also organize—my son’s room has never been so orderly! We would recommend her service to anyone looking for a great cleaning job at a more than fair price.”
“This cleaning service is amazing! We did a move in/move out special and the cleaner did an exceptional job! I highly recommend them!”
“My realtor recommended Rise-N-Shine to me, and I am so glad he did! Angela is so friendly and quick to reply to emails. Setting up the cleaning was simple. When I got home that night, I couldn’t believe my eyes! The team did such an incredible job, my condo was sparkling! I will certainly use Rise-N-Shine again and recommend them to anyone looking for a fast, reliable and wonderful cleaning service. Thank you!”
“I do appreciate coming home from work to find a clean and lovely home waiting for us! Appreciative!”
“Angela did a wonderful job cleaning my apartment for the first time. Beyond that she went above and beyond expectations by washing the dirty dishes in my kitchen which wasn’t part of the provided service. Not only did she do a good job on the cleaning but also provided me with excellent customer service.”
“I have used Angela and her team numerous times. They are awesome, reliable, do an amazing job and I would recommend them to everyone.”
“Thank you for taking care of our house like it is your own. We will certainly be calling you again in the future. You’re a true professional and a wonderful lady!”
“I am so thankful for and impressed with the job done at my apartment!! It is spotless and looks AMAZING. I will definitely continue to use Rise and Shine and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a cleaning company! Thank you, Angela for your patience and awesome customer service!”
“We had never used a cleaning service before, so we had Angela give our house a deep cleaning and she did an amazing job! She made the whole place sparkle! The best part was that she checked in with me a few days later to make sure that I was still happy with her services! She is such a joy to work with!”
“My mom recently had pneumonia and just didn’t have the energy to clean, especially after the holidays. Mom really needed to rest but is a fussy senior who loves a clean house. My sister and I told her to rest and we’d handle it! We called Rise N Shine and they did such a fantastic job my ‘fussy mom’ was incredibly happy. And we’re happy to say she’s on the mend because she FINALLY listened to us kids and chilled out. We will definitely use Rise N Shine again!”
“Angela and her crew are wonderful and so easy to work with. My house looked amazing and they paid such great attention to the details!”
“Thanks Angela for promptly sending someone to my home to assist with my housekeeping needs and she did a good job. I will definitely be calling you in the future and am extremely satisfied.”
10 Things To Throw Out At The Start Of A New Year
/byKicking off 2023 by cleaning out your home is the perfect way to start the new year with a fresh slate! Follow the checklist below to get rid of items in your home you might not have remembered are old, unnecessary, or unusable.
Old, tired pillows.
The ones you sleep on might be comfortable, but what about the ones in your kids’ rooms or guest bedrooms? They could probably stand to be replaced.
Half-burned candles.
If you haven’t lit it in a year, it’s time to toss it. ‘Nuff said.
Old winter clothes/accessories.
Planning a ski trip? Take the time to throw out what you don’t pack – it’s likely you won’t need it again! Also, throw out clothes you didn’t wear during the holidays or prior. If you haven’t worn them in the last few winter months or year before, it’s time to donate them!
Old or unnecessary food in the pantry/fridge.
Go through and look at expiration dates on condiments in the fridge – toss what’s old and/or not something you use. Toss random items in your pantry out, too. Maybe it’s an old bag of croutons that have gone stale that you used for a party once! You’ve definitely got something in there you can clear out.
Extra mugs.
Better donated, we say! If you don’t use them throughout the week or when you have company, it’s time to take them to Goodwill!
Old towels.
Either add these to the ‘dog towel’ pile in the linen closet or toss them and get some nice new ones. It’s amazing how good new towels feel!
Games and toys with missing or broken pieces.
Old restaurant menus, business cards, expired coupons, and the like.
Clear out that junk drawer where old mail goes to die! It’s time.
We hope this helps you jump-start your cleaning routine for the new year. Happy 2023!

10 Things To Add To Your Self-Care Routine
/byPracticing self-care is so important! Use these ideas to add to your current routine, or start yours with them. Taking care of yourself and your mental health is something you should prioritize, even when you are busy.
– Create something without an agenda! Paint, knit, start a journal, and so on – with no deadline!
– Try a new recipe. It sounds simple, but really do some research into one that you can add into your rotation that you’ll love again and again is really helpful and fun. Or try going vegetarian for a month!
– Rearrange your furniture! Switch things up a bit.
– Learn something new, like a new language, how to edit and take good photos, take care of plants, etc.
– Treat yourself, if you’re able. Buy a massage, get your nails done, or splurge at the mall.
– Plan a trip, itinerary and everything! Plan out the restaurants you’ll eat at, the places you’ll visit, and so on.
– Set screen time limits for yourself.
– Organize an area in your home, like your desk, your kids’ playroom, closet, etc.
– Try breathing exercises – they’ve been shown to reduce stress and anxiety in many studies.
– Laugh! Put on a comedy, go to a stand-up show, or watch a recorded one on tv.
